In the tragedy Othello, by William Shakespeare, Othello was misled by his envious hog Iago to opine his wife was dishonest and was slicker on him. Othellos re act asions to this setup throughtaboo the story are debatable. Samuel Taylor Coleridge and T. S. Eliot are twain writers that take a leak establish the play and given their opinion on the say-so Othello reacted to the thoughts of Desdemona cheating on him. Coleridge believed that in Othellos situation, any man would act as he did. He feels that if what happened to Othello happened to anyone else, they would handle the situation equal to the appearance Othello did through come out the story. However, Eliot feels that Othello could of handled the situation differently than he did in this story. He believes that Othello was a fine example of military personnel impuissance. These two places show how difficult of a situation Othello was in. Although Othello acted out with controversial reactions to his painful emot ions, it is not hard to relate to how he snarl and why Othello murdered his wife. Samuel Taylor Coleridge had a positive emplacement on Othellos reactions to the tragic betrayal of Iago. He believed that Othello killed Desdemona out of deeper disapprobation and not because of jealousy (Coleridge, 255-67).

In Coleridges view, Iago used his powerful cheat of convincing Othello that Desdemona was cheating on him with Cassio. Iago setup more opportunities to fake Cassio and Desdemona look guilty. Othello, in Coleridges eyes, is a fine character. He believes that the way he handles his emotions is the way most wou ld handle the hassle Othello dealt with. T.! S. Eliots view of Othello was of the exact opposite point of view that Coleridge shows. He feels that Othello shows a terrible exposure of human weakness and he succeeded in turning himself into...
